Two River Pictures Nominated for James Beard Award

Two River Pictures has been nominated for a 2011 James Beard Foundation Award in the category of Broadcast Media (Television Special/Documentary) for the one hour special The Four Coursemen on Cooking Channel. The team at Two River was ecstatic when we heard the news. After a long and work intensive process you usually know well if you have created something extraordinary and we felt we had done just that. Receiving the nomination alone was a big boost and provided further validation that the sweat equity that went into the production of the show was not lost on others.

Deemed “the Oscars of the food world,” by Time magazine, The James Beard Foundation Awards are the country’s most coveted honor for chefs; food and beverage professionals; broadcast media, journalists, and authors working on food; and restaurant architects and designers.

Two River acknowledges and gives great thanks to The Four Coursemen for all of their work in making a great special and sharing their talents with the world. We are proud of what we created together and are grateful that others (including the James Beard Foundation) recognize how extraordinary the special is.

We are looking forward to the Book, Broadcast & Journalism Awards Dinner on May 6th at Espace, and regardless of the outcome feel truly honored to be nominated for our work.
