Garrett has been a commercial and television producer for over 20 years selling his first production company to Grey Advertising after which he served as President of Grey Global Group’s direct response subsidiary, Great Response from 1995-2000. After a stint working for large media conglomerates such as Viacom, Garrett returned to his entrepreneurial roots and his true passion, original programming.
In 2005, he partnered with Joan Cusack to create an original six-part mini-series for the Travel Channel, entitled ‘Joan Cusack’s Local Flavor’. From 2006 – 2009, Garrett was a partner and served as General Manager of Turnpike Pictures.
Garrett has developed programming and produced on-air promos and web content for Food Network, HGTV, and Fine Living and serviced commercial clients including: Motorola, Virtua Health, Sirius Satellite Radio, Art Institute and Okidata.
Rachel uses documentary and media to raise awareness of social issues and to tell the untold stories of many. Currently, Rachel is a producer at Two River Pictures where she is helping to develop and establish their documentary division, Two River Docs.
Rachel has premiered her work in theatres across the Northeast and has had her documentaries showcased in prestigious festivals such as, South by Southwest, the Palm Springs International ShortFest, the New Orleans International Film Festival, and the New York Independent Film Festival.
